Medical ultrasound is a diagnostic imaging technique based on the application of ultrasound. It is used to see internal body structures such as tendons, muscles, joints, blood vessels, and internal organs. Its aim is often to find a disease source or exclude any pathology. Aims and Objectives of the Program
- To create opportunities for acquiring knowledge and skill in Medical Ultrasound.
- To produce sufficient sonologists available for taking care of community health.
- To train medical doctors for effective and scientific diagnosis of patients and write reports on a case basis using ultrasound machines.
- To produce trained and skilled sonologists to meet the growing demand in clinical
ultrasound and imaging at home and abroad.
PGDMU Course Total Cost
The aims and objectives of the program are to produce sufficient sonologists with the necessary knowledge and skill about ultrasound to take care of community health. The duration of the program is one year (two semesters).
A learner has to complete 30 credits to receive the degree. A maximum of 40 to 50 learners will be admitted to each study center of BOU. The number of seats may also vary per the decision of the BOU authority. Here are the total costs you have to pay for this course.
