Bangladesh Open University has established in the Gazipur near Dhaka, to reach all levels of education through the distance education system. It is a public university. The university has two types of education system on-campus and out-campus. The main campus of Bangladesh Open University is located at Board Bazar at Gazipur district north side of Dhaka city. Besides, there are 12 regional centers, 80 co-ordinating offices, and a huge network of over 1000 tutorial centers across the country for organizing university education activities.
